Now that I got your attention, happy hump day everyone.
Can time please stop for just one minute?
Going back to work, adapting to changes all around, raising a baby and doing it all on Weight Watchers is not easy. I feel like this Saturday, I’ll be walking with my tail between my legs.
During my maternity leave, I felt more in control. I had time to meal plan, I was moving almost every day with my little guy and I was getting into a healthy sleep routine. Since October, I have hit a plateau and it’s very frustrating. Now I’ve been on and off weight watchers more than a few times and I keep coming back because it works. This is the first time in about five years since I’ve been close to my goal and every week the numbers keep saying “not this time”. I know this is normal. I know this happens to many people. Full respect to anyone who had been through a plateau. If you have any advice, please send it my way!
One thing I know for sure, I am so excited to get my dining room/eating area back! As you know, we had a flood last month and needed to repair the floors. They are FINALLY being repaired. The last few weeks have been interesting to say the least. We were limited on space (not so fun for an almost walking baby) and our eating habits have been far from perfect (lots of eating standing up/take out). It will be good to have some order restored.
That’s all I have for now. The next few days will be busy because we will be putting our apartment back together. Please check back on Saturday because I’ll have my Saturday weigh in/self care post up. Even better: subscribe!
Hope you guys are having a great week!
🙂 Jen
