When it comes to dining out on Weight Watchers, I'm a bit of a rebel. Sometimes, I don't feel like tracking. And you know, that's okay. Hear me out. Since embarking on this health journey, I have found eating in restaurants to be complicated. On the one hand, of course I want to stay on track. But guess what? I don't want to be THAT girl who takes an hour to order. We're often told in our meetings that dining out can be easy if you plan your trip, research the menu, figure out . . .
Happy Monday everyone! I am writing this post Oscars and with a full hangover. A sugar hangover that is, but I'll get to that in a moment. First things first! Some of you have been wondering where the Weight Watchers updates have been so here it is: YES! Of course I'm still on weight watchers. Thank you so much for checking in and keeping me on my toes (you know who you are). I know it has been a while since I've done a detailed update but I'm happy to report I've still . . .
Hi everyone! Happy belated groundhog day. Can you believe that in 2018 we still rely on a rodent to predict the weather? Guess what? 6 more weeks of winter. Thank you #captainobvious But seriously. I have gone a little longer than normal without blogging but I'm finally starting to get back into a routine. I recently started a new job so it's taken a bit of time to establish some . . .
Hey everyone! This has been a roller coaster of a week. As my Weight Watchers leader Rose asked this morning: "What have you done for yourself?" Well I'll tell you what I did: I got myself up and out to the meeting this morning. If you recall, last week I pressed that snooze button, hid under the covers AND enjoyed some me time. Sometimes you need to have those days. While everyone in our household is a little under the weather, I'm so glad I went today. Weight Watchers . . .
Confession Time: This Yenta loves country music and my favourite show on tv right now is Nashville, a country musical drama on CMT. Judge away but honestly, it’s the perfect blend of ooey gooey drama and schmaltzy romance. ("So angsty", as Adam loves to say.) Anyways, while playing with Ethan this morning, we were listening to the Nashville soundtrack and the song “A Life That’s Good”, by Lennon and Maisy Stella came on and I got into one of my self-reflective moods. . . .
